The Sealed Knot Society is broken down into different armies, the Royalist Army and the Army of Parliment. Within each army it is then further broken down into Tercio's, Vaughan's is part of the Oxford Foote Tercio. Within the tercio it is then futher broken down into Regiments, of which is contains two of the largest in the Royalist Army, and Battalia's.

 

Sir Henry Vaughan's is a company within Stradlings Battalia, which we form a partnership with the Earl River's Regiment of Foote. This partnership means that we fight along side each other on the battlefield, and spend a lot of time socializing with each other off the battlefield as well: including enjoying splendidly cooked Seventeeth Century meals in the evenings after battles at larger scaled events. 

 

This partnership also allows each of the Regiments to put on larger scale events due to the amount of support given. Something that was vital for the event that we put on at Monmouth School in September 2014.
